Class Mission Statement
The mission of Mr. Baggaley's 4th grade class in room 222 is to inspire people of all kinds, to be hard-working, kind, and life-long learners. We will be examples to everyone by using the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and listening carefully.
Leadership Role Descriptions
Desk CheckerThe responsibility of the desk checker is to make sure that students have clean desks inside and out. They can put a reminder note on the desks of students who need to tidy up, and report them to Mr. Baggaley.

Trash CollectorsIt is the job of the trash collectors to make sure that the floor is tidy and clean of papers, wood chips, or anything that could clutter the classroom floor. They ask other students to pick up the messes under their desks and around the room.

Teacher's AssistantThe teacher's assistant will direct the class to say the pledge and class mission statement each day. They can also be used for other needs that the teacher sees.

LibrarianThe duty of the librarian is to keep the books on the book shelves straightened and organized. They are also in charge of any shelf organization that needs to be adjusted by the teacher.

Cleaning SpecialistThe cleaning specialist's job is to wipe off desks and any other surface that needs intense cleaning. The cleaning specialist can also clean the teacher's white boards with the appropriate cleaners.

Equipment ManagerThe equipment manager is in charge of collecting the playground equipment after recess that has been left out. He/She can also get supplies in the classroom for the other students. Another duty is to sharpen the pencils in the dull cup and put them in the sharp cup before school starts.

Line LeaderThe line leader has the supreme task of making sure that he/she is the ultimate example of hallway behavior for the class. He/she will lead the class to the various places that the class travels to during the day. The line leader can also issue hallway excellence tickets to members of the class who are perfect examples of awesome hallway behavior.

Door HolderThe responsibility of the door holder is to make sure that the doors are open to allow the class to pass freely between. The door holder is also responsible to greet the students as they come into the classroom each morning. The door holder can also give out hallway excellence tickets.

Lunch ManagerThe lunch manager tells the teacher how many students are eating entree, muncher, and home lunch each day right after the bell rings. It is the responsibility of the lunch manager to also help in the cafeteria when it is the classes turn to serve.

MessengerThe messenger answers the phone during class time and passes it over to the teacher. He/She is also responsible to write positive notes to students and put them in their mailboxes outside the classroom.

PhotographerThe duty of the photographer is to find moments that need to be documented and take pictures of them. This must be done when the teacher approves, and does not disrupt the class. The photographs will be used at the end of the year. The photographer will use the classroom iPad to take all photos. All photos taken will also be appropriate.

CinematographerThe duty of the cinematographer is to find moments that need to be documented and take video of them. This must be done when the teacher approves, and does not disrupt the class. The videos will be used at the end of the year. The cinematographer will use the classroom iPad to take all videos. All videos taken will also be appropriate.
